The Provost’s Student Advisory Council, or PSAC, was initiated in fall of 2004 by Provost Adler to elicit student perspectives on college initiatives and programs. Students of varying academic disciplines, class levels, and backgrounds are selected to serve on PSAC each academic year. PSAC meetings are held approximately one to two times per quarter with the Provost to discuss student issues and provide feedback on college initiatives and programs.
Warren College Undergraduate Research Scholarships encourage outstanding Warren students to engage in scholarly research and creative or artistic experimentation. These scholarships provide support of up to $1,000 to subsidize travel, supplies, equipment, and other costs associated with these endeavors.
In Spring Quarter 2005, Provost Steven Adler began the tradition of hosting a quarterly High Table Dinner for Warren College students and faculty. This event is loosely based on Oxford and Cambridge tradition, where college faculty and students dine together in a formal and intimate setting. It is designed to foster greater interaction amongst both parties outside of the classroom environment.
