Provost's Student Advisory Council

Call for Representatives for the 2008-2009 Academic Year

The Provost’s Student Advisory Council, or PSAC, was initiated in fall of 2004 by Provost Adler to elicit student perspectives on college initiatives and programs.  Students of varying academic disciplines, class levels, and backgrounds are selected to serve on PSAC each academic year. PSAC meetings are held approximately one to two times per quarter with the Provost to discuss student issues and provide feedback on college initiatives and programs.

We are currently soliciting Warren College students to serve on PSAC for the 2008 - 2009 year. PSAC members must be full-time students at Warren and have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0. If you are interested in serving on PSAC, please send an email to waprovost@ucsd.edu with the following information by Friday, May 30:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Year
  • Major(s) (and minor if applicable)
  • Programs of Concentration or Area Studies
  • Cumulative G.P.A.
  • Indicate whether you live on campus or off campus and if you entered UCSD as a freshman or transfer student
  • Include a brief paragraph explaining why you are interested in serving on PSAC

PSAC members will be selected by Friday, June 13 and all applicants will be informed via email.
