The primary purpose of the Office of Academic Advising is to assist you in the development and implementation of your educational and personal goals. We work collaboratively with academic departments and other campus units to ensure your success at the University of California, San Diego. The Academic Advising Office helps you:

• Clarify University and College requirements
• Select an educational plan that supports your personal and career goals
• Develop decision-making skills
• Monitor your progress toward completion of requirements for graduation

Access to Academic Advising Services

• Online Virtual Advising Center is available 24/7. Note: You will receive a response within 48 hours.
• 10-15 minute sessions are available during Walk-in Advising hours on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Thirty-minute student appointments can be made at the front desk.
• Follow-up appointments are also available.
• Monday mornings are the best time to make an appointment.

Note: If you'd like to meet with a specific counselor, please let the front desk know so that we can inform you of the counselor's availability for Walk-in Advising and appointments.

Directions to Warren College

Coming from the south on Interstate 5, take the Genessee exit. Turn right on Genessee (East) Avenue. Turn right on Campus Point Drive and another quick right on Voigt.

Coming from the north on Interstate 5, take the Genessee exit. Turn right on Genessee (West) Avenue. Turn left on North Torrey Pines Road. Turn left on North Point Drive and left on Voigt. (Information kiosk is on North Point Drive)
