FAQs - OrientationDo I have to attend on-campus orientation?Yes, orientation is mandatory. During orientation academic advising will assist you through the enrollment process. How can I get more information on on-campus orientation?Contact the Dean of Student Affairs Office at (858) 534-4731. I have some academic questions.You may save your questions until your on-campus orientation visit or ask them through the E-Advisor on the Orientation web site. Am I required to take the Math Placement Test?Yes, unless you have three semester units of transfer level calculus, have results from the calculus Advanced Placement Exam with a score of 3, 4, or 5, or have a score of 650+ on the SAT Math II, 2C exam. I've been admitted to Warren College, but I found out I received a D my last semester at high school. Will I still be admitted?You need to speak to the Admissions Office staff at (858) 534-3160 or (858) 534-4831 as soon as possible. I will be a freshman next year. Can I make an appointment to see a counselor?During the latter part of Winter Quarter and beginning of Spring Quarter, College Information Sessions will be held that you and your parents can attend. New freshmen will be invited to a two-day orientation in June where all questions can be answered. If you need information immediately, you may call the Office of Admissions and Recruitment (formerly called SOAR) at (858) 534-4831. Unfortunately, we are unable to make an individual appointment for you until you are a registered student.
