The application process must be completed at least one month prior to the beginning of the quarter to allow for timely processing and course enrollment.
Review the following situations for further instructions:
For students who left the university in good academic standing, a review by the advising office will not be required.
Students who were not in good academic standing when they left the University will be required to complete an academic contract. Further instructions will be sent via email.
All holds must be cleared before the readmission process can be completed.
Consult with the Basic Writing Program Office, 858-534-6177, to determine Redemption Exam readiness.
Take and pass the Redemption Exam.
If the Redemption Exam is passed, file a Readmission Application with the Registrar's Office and pay the required fee. The Registrar's Office will require approval from Academic Advising.
If you were also dismissed for academic performance, you will need to follow the appeals process outlined in the next link.
Complete the Warren Readmission Appeal Form (pdf) and return it to the Warren Advising Office along with transcripts of work completed at other institutions.
The Dean of Academic Advising will review the appeal and transcripts. Students will be notified of the appeal outcome.
Send official transcripts of all work completed at another institution to the UC San Diego Admissions Office for posting to academic history on TritonLink.
The Registrar's Office will send readmission approval notification.
