Undergraduate Seminars

Beginning with the 2006-2007 academic year, the One-Unit Undergraduate Seminar Program will no longer be offered.   The program, which offered one-unit P/NP seminars to undergraduates of all class levels, will be replaced by the new Senior Seminar Program and the continuing Freshman Seminar Program, both of which are administered by the office of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Undergraduate Affairs.  Please visit the Academic Affairs website for information on these programs.

Since the program’s inception in 1988, more than 1,000 “90” seminars have been offered, serving more than 14,000 undergraduate students.  We sincerely appreciate the contributions of faculty who have offered seminars through our program over the past 18 years.

Note to Academic Departments: All academic departments that have offered one-unit seminars through our program (seminars numbered “90”) do not need to take any action to delete this course.  Academic departments may continue to offer courses numbered “90” in the future; however, the scheduling of these courses will be done individually through each department and no instructional and research support funds will be extended by Warren College to faculty who teach “90” seminars.  The 90 courses which are currently approved will continue to exist, but no stipends will be available to faculty who teach them.
