Eligibility Requirements

 

To qualify as an Honors student at Warren College, you must meet the criteria listed below. Note: The eligibility requirements for the Warren College Honors Program are changing beginning Fall 2006! Please refer to the chart below to check your eligibility status. If you meet the Eligibility requirements, you are automatically a part of the Warren Honors program. All activities and programs for Honors students are optional.

First Year Students Entering Fall 2006 and after: Continuing Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors and Transfers Entering Fall 2006 and after: Continuing Students who entered prior to Fall 2006: Transfers who entered prior to Fall 2006:
3.8 High School Cumulative GPA Complete 12 UCSD units, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7. Complete 36 UCSD units, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Cumulative GPA at the time of enrollment must be a 3.8. Once at UCSD, you must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
700 SAT I Critical Reasoning OR 31 on ACT Reading    

700 SAT I Quantitative OR 31 on ACT Math

700 SAT I Writing OR average score of 31 on combined ACT English and Writing

 

ACT scores are acceptable in lieu of SAT I scores. You will need to have official ACT scores on file with the Admissions Office at UCSD. The Honors Program will use the ACT Reading, Math and a combined English/Writing score. You will need to have a 31 on each of these sections to be eligible for the Honors Program.
