Degree Audit

  • Check your Degree Audit via TritonLink for graduation requirements.
  • Read the Academic regulations in the UCSD Catalog.
  • Questions about your Degree Audit?
    • Contact your College via VAC for general education requirements.
    • Contact your Department for major or minor requirements.

How to File for Graduation:

  1. graduationVerify that the following are accurate on TritonLink:
    • Major and major code (along with BA or BS).
    • Name as you wish it to appear on your diploma.
    • Current and permanent addresses.

    If any of the above information is not accurate, correct it immediately at the Office of the Registrar.

  2. UCSD and your College will correspond only via your UCSD email address. Keep it clean and check it periodically.

  3. To declare a minor, submit a minor applicaton form to the minor department. Form must be approved by minor department and College.

    a.Submit Program of Concentration (PofC's)/Area Study (A/S) /Minor choices at http://pofc.ucsd.edu

    OR

    b.For verified Transfer TAG/IGETC and UC Reciprocity students, list two approved upper-division, non-contiguous departments at http://pofc.ucsd.edu.

  4. Once corrections appear on TritonLink, you must wait 48 hours to log onto the Degree and Diploma Application system

  5. After the above is completed, you are ready to file for graduation at http://degree.ucsd.edu

  6. If you fail to meet the graduation requirements by the end of the quarter in which you filed, you must retract from your original graduation quarter and re-file a new electronic Degree and Diploma Application (EDDA) form with your NEW quarter of graduation.
  7. Visit http://vac.ucsd.edu to access the "Preparing for Graduation" online presentation.

Degree Audit Timeline

  • College reviews and processes EDDA within three weeks of submission
  • College will send an e-mail notice through the Virtual Advising Center regarding degree audit
  • If you have transfer course(s) yet to be posted, the UCSD Admissions Office must receive your official transcript so they can evaluate and post the course. Watch your TritonLink record and alert us when the credit has been posted.
  • Once grades are final, the College reviews your audit, check for major department approval and verifies that all requirements are complete. Our office will send finalized audit to the Office of the Registrar. The Office of the Registrar is responsible for posting of degrees to student record. Posted degree is viewable on TritonLink.
  • If you need verification of your degree, request your transcript via TritionLink and select "Hold until degree is recorded". The Office of the Registrar will send verification as soon as degree is conferred.
  • Diploma is mailed to your permanent address within 30-90 days after the degree has been posted. Find out more about diplomas and ordering transcripts on TritonLink

Commencement Ceremony

Warren College Commencement is generally held on the Saturday or Sunday after Spring finals. Check Warren College home page periodically for details.
