2023 Transfer New Student Orientation Timeline

June

June 1

Deadline to accept UC San Diego's offer of admission. Accept your offer through the Applicant Portal.
June 8

Deadline to apply for On-Campus Housing in the Housing Portal. Visit Housing Dining and Hospitality for more information.
June 15

New Triton Advising Portal is open to Transfer student and can have access to Online Advising.
June 22

Deadline to submit signed Housing contract and prepayment.

July

July 1 Postmark deadline to submit your final transcripts. Submit final, official transcripts: high school(s) plus any college/university transcripts.

 
Refer to Required Documents from Schools Outside the United States if any of your coursework was taken outside the U.S.

Submit IGETC certification if you are completing any units in summer.
July 10 Deadline to submit proof of vaccination, exemption or deferral for UC Immunizations Requirement.
July 16

Deadline to submit academic background in New Triton Advising (NTA).
July 17 Submit any roommate requests and room type preferences. Visit the Housing Portal
July 25 Warren College Transfer Student webinar. Information to be sent out to students directly.
July 28

Deadline to register for Orientation in COR. A hold will be placed on your account if you do not register for Orientation. This hold will prevent you from enrolling in fall quarter classes at UC San Diego. The hold will be automatically lifted once you register for Orientation in COR.

August

August 1 Warren College Transfer Student webinar. Information to be sent out to students directly via email.
August 9

Enrollment Guidance opens in New Triton Advising Portal.
August 14

Appointment times viewable in WebReg. 
August 28-30

First Pass Enrollment
August 31-September 4 Second Pass Enrollment
Late August Room Assignment and Move-in information becomes available. Students will have an opportunity to review and/or change their selected dining plan and housing installment payment plan during this time.

September

September 20

Deadline to submit a waiver for UC Student Health Insurance Program (UCSHIP).

October

October 2

Deadline to change Dining Plan.
