Orientation Overview

As a new University of California, San Diego student, you are required to participate in orientation. Orientation consists of two primary components: a web-based enrollment process and an on-campus orientation session. Orientation is designed to:

• Lead you through the two-phase process to ensure a smooth transition as you prepare for your undergraduate experience at UCSD
• Allow you to select an on-campus orientation session for you and your parent(s)/guardian
• Provide information about University and College academic requirements
• Assist you in submitting your academic information and prepare for your online enrollment
