Earl Warren Week Discussion

Student Conduct and Discipline Process

Students are members of both society and the academic community with attendant rights and responsibilities. Students are expected to comply with general law. University students on University property or attending any official University function assume an obligation to conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the University policies and campus rules and regulations. Failure of students to conduct themselves in such a manner may result in discipline under the UCSD Student Conduct Code. Additionally, students who violate federal, state, or local laws may be referred to the local criminal justice system for prosecution. Complaints of student misconduct may be reported to the Dean of Student Affairs or Resident Dean, Student Conduct Coordinator or Academic Integrity Coordinator, or the UCSD Police Department.
