Student Organizations and Groups

Warren College provides a large variety of groups and organizations for student involvement. Listed below are organizations that are sponsored by, or work closely with, Warren College. Not only does participation enhance personal development and leadership skills, but life-long friends will be made in the process.

Warren College Student Council

    General Information

    Warren College Student Council (WCSC) represents the interests and opinions of Warren College students at the University of California, San Diego. WCSC provides representatives to campus-wide and college committees, supports Warren College Student Organizations, oversees and allocates Warren College student fee funding, and provides a structure for many groups, commissions, and boards within Warren College. A variety of positions are open to all Warren students. WCSC actively serves as the voice of Warren College students at the local and university level.

  • President: Ankit Vyas

    The President serves as the official representative of WCSC and the Warren College Student Body (WCSB) and chairs meetings of the Council.
  • Vice President Internal: Lilian Fong

    The V.P. Internal assists the President in the execution of the duties and coordinate the efforts of WCSC’s voting members.  The V.P. Internal chairs the Appointments and the Rules committees.
  • Vice President External: Jonathan Young

    The V.P. External assists the President in the execution of the duties and coordinate the efforts of WCSC’s representatives to external committees to ensure that the interests of the WCSB are well represented.  The V.P. External chairs the Scholarship and the Technical Equipment committees.
  • Secretary: Biura Markarian

    The WCSC Secretary prepares, keeps, and distributes the minutes of all WCSC meetings. The Secretary calls roll at all WCSC meetings and maintains the WCSC roster.
  • Treasurer: Michael Pierce

    The Treasurer works with the President to draft the annual budget and supports the business functions of the Council. The Treasurer chairs the Finance Committee and is available as a resource to all groups who have received WCSC funding.
  • Community Conduct Outreach Board Chair: Aidan Browoleit

    The Community Conduct Outreach Board (CCOB) Chair leads the the training of the Warren College CCOB and coordination of educational outreach activities.

Events Board

    The Warren College Student Council Events Board aims to create a tight-knit community within Warren College by programming academic, social, well-being evens. Events Board is an integral part of Warren College Student Council. Events Board is charged with planning events and activities for the Warren College student population. Events Board has 12 members - both elected and appointed Spring and Fall quarters - who serve a one-year term.

Warren Transfer and Commuter Commission (WTCC)

    General Information

    WTCC is a commission of the Warren College Student Council charged with addressing the unique needs of transfer and commuter students as well as planning events and activities. WTCC hosts a variety of events throughout the year including workshops, off-campus trips, and community building socials. If you are a transfer student or commuter student looking for a connection to campus, want to make friends, and develop leadership experience WTCC is place for you.

Commission on Warren Spirit (COWS)

    COWS is a commission of the Warren College Student Council charged with coordinating events that promote and showcase Warren College spirit and pride.  The commission coordinates Warren College participation in events including Spirit Night, attendance at athletic games, Welcome Week activities, and tailgate parties.

Warren Concerts and Festivals Commission (WCFC)

    The Warren Concerts and Festivals Commission is a commission of the Warren College Student Council charged with coordinating the annual Warren College Concert - Warren Live!  Past acts have included Matt Nathanson, The Hush Sound, Parachute, and St. Lucia.  If you are interested in music, concert production, or marketing, join WCFC in producing this year's big concert.

Community Conduct Outreach Board

    The Warren College Community Conduct Outreach Board is a part of the Warren College Student Council.  The board is a critical component in ensuring a fair process for resolving allegations of student conduct and academic integrity violations.  The Community Conduct Outreach Board also holds events for Warren students to help educate on student rights and responsibilities.

The Equilibrium

    General Information

    First founded in 2014, The Equilibrium is the Warren College undergraduate, interdisciplinary research journal. To express Warren College identity, The Equilibrium will showcase the research of talented Warren College students from all disciplines and departments. The journal will serve as a resource to connect students with research opportunities as well as professors and faculty members. Our goal is to present research from all disciplines in a clear and understandable fashion while emphasizing the relevance of research to society.

Warren College Peer Mentorship Program (WPMP)

    The Warren College Peer Mentorship Program (WPMP) provides incoming students the opportunity to form a mentoring relationship with a current Warren College student. Mentors assist incoming students with adjusting to the quarter system, finding opportunities for involvement at Warren College and UCSD, and will help students meet and socialize with their peers at group programs.

CleRHCs

    CleRHCs is the Warren Residential Hall Council, an organization focused on planning events that foster and develop a sense of community in the Warren Residential Area.  We meet once a week to plan programs that will bring together the community
