Psychological and Counseling ServicesCollege experiences can offer so many opportunities for intellectual and social development. Attending UCSD can be an extremely rewarding, but at the same time, a challenging experience. Living away from the family for the first time, meeting academic demands, developing and managing relationships, and at the same time, trying to define a more solid sense of self, can be stimulating, but can also be confusing and overwhelming experience. Psychological and Counseling Services (PCS) offers services that help students to find a more satisfying balance, and to promote healthy adjustment to campus life. Individual, group, couples/cohort, family counseling services are offered to students. Depression, excessive anxiety, relationship difficulties, eating/body image concerns, cultural/sexuality identity issue are just some of the examples of the concerns that students may seek help with. Three members of PCS are located at Warren College.
To make an appointment with Junghee or with any other members of PCS, please contact the PCS central office at (858) 534-3755. For further information on the services offered by Psychological and Counseling Services, please check our website: http://psychservices.ucsd.edu.
