Warren Writing Scholars Seminar

WARR 11A & 11B

The Warren College Scholars Seminar (WARR 11A-B) satisfies the two-quarter Warren College writing requirement. The Scholars Seminar sequence helps students to develop critical thinking, reading, and writing skills that are crucial for academic success at the undergraduate and graduate level. It is intended for high-achieving students who welcome the challenge of a rigorous curriculum. Enrollment is by invitation only, and the seminar is limited to a maximum of 18 students to allow for greater participation and individualized instruction.

For the 2017-18 academic year, 11A & B will not be offered. Please check back next year for details on the 2018-19 Honors sequence.

Applications for WARR 11A/11B will automatically be distributed to eligible Warren students. Eligibility is determined on the basis of high school GPA (3.8 minimum) and standardized test scores (700 and above on the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the SAT). Eligible candidates must submit a sample of academic writing and a statement of interest.
