The Warren College Writing Program teaches a two-quarter sequence of courses, WCWP 10A and 10B, in which students read and write thought-provoking academic arguments. Entering freshmen are required to complete both Warren Writing classes at UC San Diego. The purpose of the sequence is to teach students, through intensive practice, to critically analyze texts and write arguments drawing on primary and secondary sources.
Warren College also offers several academic enrichment programs for Warren students, such as the Honors Society and the Undergraduate Research Scholarship program. The college also hosts the Academic Internship Program, Health Care-Social Issues minor, and Law and Society minor which are open to all undergraduate students.
