Warren College Student Activity Center (SAC)

Located near the Warren shuttle stop off Voigt Drive, the Student Activity Center is available to all students who need a break to relax from their busy college life. Each week, SAC hosts events, programs, and student organization meetings. For events and times, check out warren.ucsd.edu for the events calendar so you do not miss out.

Saturday – Sunday: 12:30pm - 12:00am

Who runs SAC?

SAC is run by the SAC Associates (SACAs).

Available at SAC

A number of activities are available for students at SAC with the purchase of a SAC Pass for $10 in Triton Cash. Residents will get the opportunity to try out the center during welcome week and week 1 of fall quarter for free.

You can play pool, Ping-Pong, shuffleboard, foosball, or the piano. Some of the more popular activities at SAC are renting a movie, a video game, a board game, or sports equipment, or just relax and enjoying your favorite shows on our big screen TV.

Additionally, SAC has an XBOX 360 that students can check out on an hourly basis 

All rentals require a UCSD student ID. SAC accepts Triton Cash as a method of payment.   


Community Engagement

Community Engagement hours are an opportunity for Warren residents to socialize and meet others in the Warren Residential Communinty. Community engagement's goal is to provide consistent programs for residents so that they can always find something to do if they need a break from studying. Community Engagement Hours are hosted in SAC, Wednesday through Monday 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM and Tuesdays 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM starting week 1 Fall 2018. Community Engagement programs are completely free and open to all Warren residents. 

Community Engagement Schedule: 

Sunday – Coffee/Tea House Study Jam

Monday – Football Night (fall), TV shows or other sports events 

Tuesday – Study Jam

Wednesday – Crafting Night 

Thursday – Challenge the RA’s on Duty to Pool, Foosball, Ping Pong, or Shuffleboard 

Friday – Movie Night

Saturday – Board Games and Video Games

All events will be hosted in the SAC Equality Room  with the exception of the Thursday night RA challenge that occurs in the SAC Justice Room. 

The kitchen will still be available during community engagement for residents who wish to cook.

Otherwise, you can program before or after these events through the Room Reservation Page.


If you get locked out after the Residential Life Office has closed, call the RA on Duty (858.692.8635), come to the Student Activity Center, and the RA on duty will allow you access to your room. You will need to show your UCSD student ID. The first three times you get locked out and let back into your room there is no fee; after that, you will be assessed a fee of $10 per lockout.

Mail and Packages

If you live in the apartments, your mail is delivered to the Student Activity Center; some residents who live in the residential halls may also have a mailbox at the Student Activity Center. The mailbox numbers located at the Student Activity Center are 45001-45900.

All packages delivered to Warren College residents are distributed at SAC.  All packages are delivered to SAC during the day to be sorted by Student Mail Services employees.  Beginning at 12:30pm on weekdays, residents who have received a notification email can go to SAC to sign for their package with a valid student ID.

Room Reservations

If you are interested in reserving one of the rooms at the Student Activity Center, visit our Room Reservation page.  All rooms must be reserved in advance on the Warren Room Reservation page. Same day reservations must be made by 3:00 pm of any given day, no exceptions. Available rooms include a large meeting room and a full-sized kitchen with supplies. Reservations are free to Warren College Affiliates and Residents but do require a refundable deposit.
