Welcome to Warren Residential Life

The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm.

The Residential Life Office oversees all aspects of the Warren Residential Life Community, including but not limited to administrative functions such as: student conduct, room change requests, contract release requests, mailboxes distribution, campus resource referrals, and acting as the primary liaison to Housing/Dining Administration.

In addition, the office also provides community and student leadership development, overseeing our paraprofessional student employees, managing the Student Activity Center, mentoring several campus organizations, and sponsoring various student programs.

    Dana Pysz, Ed.D.

    Dana is starting his second year working here at UCSD in Warren Residential Life. He grew up in Dana Point, CA (about 50 miles north of here) and previously worked at UCLA prior to moving to San Diego. He received his  Bachelors in English at Humboldt State, Masters in Communication Studies at Texas Tech University, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership at UCLA. He lives on campus in a staff apartment in Goldberg Hall and can’t be more excited to be working here!

    Cesar Figueroa, Ed.D.

    Dr. Cesar Figueroa has worked at four UC Campuses: UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz and now UC San Diego. Received B.A. from UC Irvine, M.Ed. University of Maryland-College Park, Advanced Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension, and his doctorate in Educational Leadership at UCSD.

    Jennifer Klage Amerine

    Jennifer graduated from UC San Diego, Warren College (Go Tritons!) and received her M.Ed. from San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!).  Jennifer was born and raised in central California and was a first generation college student. She enjoys spending quality time with her daughter (going to the beach, parks, local theme parks, etc.).

    Rachel is a Warren alumna and received her B.S. in Management Science at UC San Diego. She manages the Student Activity Center (SAC) and  reservations for any of our facilities, co-advises our community programs, assists RAs with programming, and has a great fascination for butterflies.

    Adriana Campuzano

    Adriana provides assistance to staff and students in the Residential Life Office. Adriana is a native San Diegan. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences. She had the pleasure to work with J. Kevin Wood when she began working at Warren Residential Life. Her hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, quilting and Kakuro.

    Community Coordinators are undergraduate students who work closely with Resident Assistants to assist in community building throughout the Warren Residential Complex. Community Coordinators assist in the management of 7-10 Resident Assistants, mentor Resident Assistants in community programming and roommate mediation, and assist in disciplinary confrontations.

    Resident Assistants are undergraduate students who have undergone a rigorous selection and training process. They live in the Warren Residential Complex and work with residents to develop a sense of community, facilitate open and sensitive communication among apartment/suite mates, and organize social, educational, recreational, and cultural activities. RAs are involved with many college and campus-wide activities and are great sources of information. They also are responsible for reminding residents to abide by the rules and regulations while residing in the residential complex.

Meet the Warren Residential Hall Council (CleRHCs)

  • CleRHCs


    CleRHCs is the Residential Hall Council for Warren College. The organization is comprised of undergraduate students who have volunteered their time to organize social, educational, recreational, and cultural activities for the Warren Residential Life community. Members gain valuable leadership, programming, and teamwork skills and many forge lasting friendships with one another. Any undergraduate student may become a member of the council. To join simply stop on by CleRHCs‘ weekly meetings; Thursday nights at 8pm in the Equality Room at the Warren College Student Activity Center (SAC).

    The Chair elected every year by the previous council. They lead weekly General Body Meetings, maintain and manages the CleRHCs budget, plan the annual Fall Retreat and oversee the council as a whole. This year's chair is

    The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Building Representatives and assisting them in their efforts. They review all programming forms with the Marketing Director to ensure proper completion for successful events. The current program coorinator is

    The Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the Marketing Interns. They are also responsible for the creative publicity you see around Warren College! The current marketing director is 
  • Building Representative

    The Building Representatives are responsible for voicing the opinions of students who live in each building throughout Warren College. They also assist in planning programs under the Program Coordinator for residents to enjoy.

    The Marketing Intern is reponsible for designing and creating all publicity for the organization under the Marketing Director.


  • General Body Member

    Anyone is welcome to become a General Body Member of CleRHCs. They attend weekly GBMs and volunteer to assist in any stage of planning and implementing programs.

Meet the SAC Associates (SACAs)

  • SAC Associates (SACAs)

    SAC Associates or SACAs are undergraduate students who run Warren College's Student Activity Center or as we like to all in SAC. The SACAs are responsible for overseeing the rental process of recreational games including: pool, ping  pong, board games, sports equipement, and much more. They provide residents the opportuntiy to pick up their parcels at the center for extended hours during the evening when mail services is closed. SACAs also assit the Warren Residential Life office by overseeing room reservations that occur in the center's Equality Room and kicthen.

    Summer Interns are undergraduate students who help the Warren Residential Life Office perpare for the next academic year and daily operations.They answer phones, schedule appointments, organize supplies, clean,  and assist the professional staff as needed. Summer Interns are also great sources of information, when it comes to questions about our Warren community and the campus as a whole.

    Norah Al -Azzam


    Norah is a third-year transfer student majoring in biology. In her free time, she enjoys painting, going to the beach and checking out coffee shops. She is also a research assistant at Dr. Pekkurnaz’s lab studying neuron metabolism. Her  dream one day is to get a Ph.D. in neuroscience and own a startup.

    Issac is a recently graduated senior who worked at Warren as a Resident Assistant and Community Coordinator. He is now working as a summer intern while finishing up a research project. He is a huge comic book enthusiast and enjoys talking about books and tv shows!

    Xinyi is a first - year undergradtuate student who is majoring in Economics. She was born and attended school in China and came to the U.S. fr college in 2017. She enjoys reading and literature, finishinh three science ficition books before starting at the University.
