The majority of first-year students at UC San Diego live on campus. Students have access to resources that provide transitional support and foster personal growth. Below are a few of the facilities and staff that are found in the Warren Neighborhood.
Only first-year students are permitted to live in the Warren Residential Halls. Each suite is fully furnished and has a common area lounge, community bathroom, and six rooms - 2 triple rooms, and 4 single rooms (or some combination thereof). Each student will have a bed, dresser, desk with chair. The suite lounge has a coffee table, two couches and a side table.
Continuing students and some first-year students live in the Warren Apartments. Each apartment is fully furnished and has a kitchen, bathroom, living room, one double room and one triple room. The kitchen is supplied with a stove and refrigerator and cabinets.
Located near the Warren shuttle stop off Voigt Drive, the Student Activity Center is available to all students who need a break to relax from their busy college life. Each week, SAC hosts events, programs, and student organization meetings. For hours of operation, a full list of amenities, as well as events and times, click on the Student Activity Center tab.

He played a pivotal role in the planning and expansion of the Warren Student Activity Center and the building of the Warren Residential Halls and Canyon Vista Administration Building.
The JK Wood Lounge is a quiet study lounge open Monday-Friday 8:00am-1:00am and Saturday-Sunday 11:00am-1:00am for students to study in groups or alone. Beginning on Friday of Week 10 through Friday of finals week, JK Wood Lounge is open twenty-four hours a day and is a quiet study lounge; it is closed during university breaks.
