Academics

Warren College Academic Advising:

Warren College Academic Advising offers personalized guidance and support to assist our students in maximizing their UC San Diego experience and achieving academic success.  The professional staff and peer advisors assist students with understanding and complying with general-education requirements, University requirements, academic policies, educational planning, and referrals to appropriate campus resources.

Warren College Writing Program:

Warren College Writing Program teaches students to read and write thought-provoking academic arguments.  Entering freshmen are required to complete two Warren Writing classes at UC San Diego (WCWP 10A and WCWP 10B), and entering transfers are required to complete WCWP 100 at UC San Diego. The purpose of the sequence is to teach students, through intensive practice, to critically analyze texts and write arguments drawing on primary and secondary sources.

Additional Programs:

Warren College also offers several academic enrichment programs for Warren students, such as the Honors Society and the Undergraduate Research Scholarship program. The college also houses the Law and Society minor, which is open to all undergraduate students.
