Academics

Warren College Academic Advising:

Warren College Academic Advising offers personalized guidance and support to assist our students in maximizing their UC San Diego experience and achieving academic success.  The professional staff and peer advisors assist students with understanding and complying with general-education requirements, University requirements, academic policies, educational planning, and referrals to appropriate campus resources.

Warren College Writing Program:

Teaches a two-quarter sequence of courses, WCWP 10A and 10B, in which students read and write thought-provoking academic arguments.  Entering freshmen are required to complete both Warren Writing classes at UC San Diego.  The purpose of the sequence is to teach students, through intensive practice, to critically analyze texts and write arguments drawing on primary and secondary sources.

Additional Programs:

Warren College also offers several academic enrichment programs for Warren students, such as the Honors Society and the Undergraduate Research Scholarship program. The college also houses the Health Care-Social Issues minor and the Law and Society minor which are open to all undergraduate students.
