Located near the Voigt Drive shuttle stop, the Student Activities Center (SAC) is a hub of the Warren College residential complex. Available to all students who need a break from their busy college life, SAC functions as a primary site for community engagement, offering a large room for studying & org meetings; sports equipment, games, and DVDs; a well-equipped kitchen for those in Res Halls without one; a piano; various table-top games such as billiards, foosball, and ping pong; multiple gaming consoles, including a Nintendo Switch (with Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart); and a general ambience of collegiate socialization.

For more information on specific events, check out the calendar located here. We hope to see you here!

Weekly SAC Hours

SAC Closed Until Further Notice

Who runs SAC?

SAC is operated by SAC Associates (SACAs), employed by the Warren Residence Life Office.

To speak to the SACAs directly, call 858.246.1234 during business hours. Otherwise, feel free to contact the Res Life Office at warrenreslife@ucsd.edu with any questions and/or concerns.

Available at SAC

A number of activities are available for students at SAC with the purchase of a $5 SAC Pass via Triton Cash or $7 via Eventbrite. (Residents will also get the opportunity to check out SAC for free during Welcome Week and week 1 of Fall Quarter).

In the Justice Room you will find: a pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard, foosball, and a piano. You can also check out video games, board games, or sports equipment (basketball, football, dodgeball, etc.) from the front desk - or relax and watch your favorite shows on the big-screen TV in the Equality Room. We also have a kitchen, stocked with all the necessary equipment, available to all residents for no charge.

Additionally, SAC has an XBOX 360 and a Nintendo Switch that students can check out on an hourly basis with the purchase of a SAC Pass.

Over the summer of 2019, we installed a top-of-the-line sound system throughout the space that is locally controlled via aux in three separate zones: front lobby, Justice Room, and Equality Room. Feel free to check it out and play your own music while you hang out. The sound system is also connected to the TV in the Equality Room - perfect for watch parties of any kind. Find the SACA at the front desk if you have any questions.

All rentals require a UCSD student ID.

Community Engagement

Currently Community Engagement is postponed to adhere to social distance guidelines. More information will be updated as the situation develops.
