For more information on all of our upcoming events view our calendar or check your UCSD email account for the latest Warren College Events Email.

Year-long

  • Dine and Coffee With A Prof

The Dine and Coffee with a Prof is a campus-wide program which allows undergraduate students to dine with one of their esteemed faculty members or graduate teaching assistants (TAs) for free. The program fosters informal, out-of-classroom interactions between you and your professors. The program is sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the Warren College Student Affairs Office.
  • High Table Dinner

Each quarter the Warren College Provost hosts a High Table Dinner designed to enrich faculty-student relationships. This evening of fine food and conversation for a small number of students and faculty is loosely based on the Oxford and Cambridge tradition where college faculty and students dine together in a formal and intimate setting. Space is limited and advance registration is required. For more information or to reserve your spot at the next High Table Dinner, please contact the Office of the Provost with your name and PID.

Fall Quarter

  • Orientation

Warren College provides Orientation programs for incoming freshmen, transfer students, and the parents of incoming freshmen. Orientation provides students the opportunity to meet other incoming students beginning their first year at Warren College. The programs, speakers, and activities scheduled for the one-day Orientation programs focus on the issues and resources that are most important to new students.
  • Welcome Week

Welcome Week, an annual tradition at UC San Diego, fosters Triton Spirit for both new and returning students. Warren College departments and student organizations host fun and supportive activities, services and programs to find your place, make friends, and live the Triton Spirit!
  • UnOlympics

The annual UnOlympics competition is one of the longest running traditions at UC San Diego. UnOlympics is a fun competition where all six UC San Diego colleges compete for the coveted Golden Shoe trophy. At UnOlympics, teams earn points for field games - which consist of a crazy bat spin competition, an obstacle course, and a balloon relay - and a Welcome Week themed dance routine.
  • Winter Warrenland

Since 2011, the Warren College Student Council Events Board has hosted this festive holiday celebration at the end of Fall Quarter. Winter Warrenland has featured cookie decorating, hot cocoa, crafts, an ugly sweater competition, karaoke, and photo booths. Every year brings something new to celebrate.

Winter Quarter

  • Warren Live!

Warren College's annual concert brings up-and-coming artists to the UCSD stage for the entire campus community to enjoy. This concert is free to all students. Warren Live! is coordinated every year by the Warren College Student Council Concerts and Festivals Commission.
  • Spirit Night

The UCSD Spirit Night provides an opportunity for friendly competition among the six colleges and is centered around a basketball double header in RIMAC Arena. The Colleges compete in five events in which points are awarded. The college with the most overall points will win the Spirit Night Trophy (Cup of Cheer) which is presented following the men's basketball game. The focus is on bringing all of the colleges together as one - in support of UC San Diego.

Warren College has proudly displayed the Cup of Cheer in:

    • 2014
    • 2011
    • 2001
    • 2000

Spring Quarter

  • Triton & Transfer Triton Days

If you're a newly admitted freshman or transfer student, we will welcome you and your family on our Triton Days. Triton Days are your chance to experience the campus, learn about resources, meet staff and students, and get a preview of campus live at Warren College and UC San Diego. We'll be hosting special programs designed to introduce you to your college, provide an academic overview, learn about student organizations, and can help connect you with support services.

For more information, visit the Triton Day website (for freshmen and families) or Transfer Triton Day (for transfer students and families)

  • Student Leadership and Scholarship Celebration (SLSC)

Every spring quarter, Warren College recognizes student leaders for their contributions to the Warren College community. Student organization members, student employees, and end-of-year award recipients are invited to join in the celebration. Student leaders receive a Scales of Justice pin as part of the Scales of Justice pin tradition in which students are challenged to collect pins throughout their time at Warren College and to proudly display the pins on their robes at the commencement ceremony.
  • Commencement

Graduates will have the opportunity to attend ceremonies in person on RIMAC Field, with no more than two guests. All participants should be fully vaccinated or have had a negative COVID-19 test within 24 to 72 hours prior to the ceremony. Participants will be required to complete a symptom screening upon entry. All health and safety measures will be observed, based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, state and county guidelines for travel and gatherings, including continuous masking. For graduates not able to participate in person, Commencement ceremonies will be offered online via livestream for all graduates, families and friends.
