Warren College Design & Marketing Guide

Brand is a reflection of our college's essence and how Warren stakeholders feel about our college. What is Warren College? What comes to mind when you think about it?

A consistent Warren College brand helps define and reinforce who we are. This Design and Marketing Guide has been created to serve as a resource and tool. Use this guide to learn how to make a graphic design request, create your own designs consistent with our brand, and best market your programs and initiatives.

Submitting a Graphic Design Request

All Warren College Staff and Student Organizations can submit a graphic design request for their programs and projects. It is preferred that a request is made, especially when materials will be printed or designs will be used to create merchandise.

Priority will be given to requests pertaining to large-scale programs and projects. All other requests will be considered and accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on the Graphic Design Intern’s availability. If the Graphic Design Intern is inundated with requests and/or the timeframe to complete your request is too short, your request may be denied. You will be notified via email within 3 business days if your request has been accepted or denied.

Please submit your request via the Warren College Graphic Design Request form at least TWO WEEKS in advance of your event date. If you will be ordering merchandise, please take production and shipping times into consideration when making your request. *For large scale projects with multiple design needs (ongoing event, series, or large scale event ie. Warren Live), please submit your request via the form and then email waevents@ucsd.edu to set up a meeting to discuss your project needs with the Graphic Design Intern in detail.

Email waevents@ucsd.edu only if there are essential changes/additions that need to be made to your initial request. Graphic design requests will not be accepted via email.

Designing Your Own Graphics

Please use this design guide to help you create graphics that are consistent with Warren College's brand in the case that your request is denied, or you would like to make your own graphics. However, always submit a Design Request if you will be printing any official marketing material or creating merchandise.

Color Palette

This palette is made up of core colors derived from the Official UC San Diego Brand Color Palette as well as Warren College-specific colors. You are not required to use all of these colors in a single design. However, it is imperative that you incorporate the official Warren College Maroon into your design.
