Information for Parents & Families For Orientation 

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all parents and families for your invaluable investment of time and support in your student's transition to UC San Diego. Your involvement and encouragement play a crucial role in the success of your student's journey.

Warren College's orientation sessions will be taking place at Price Center on September 18th, 19th, 20th, and 23rd. Please note that these orientation sessions are exclusively for Warren students, meaning that once the program begins, parents and families are expected to leave and come back once the program is over. This decision allows us to create an environment where students can fully engage in activities designed to foster their independence and build connections with their peers. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to provide an enriching experience for all participants. 

At the moment, we are unfortunately no longer able to make accomodations for switching orientation session dates. If your student is unable to make it to the orientation session they originally registered for, they'll have to do a make-up orientation session once classes begin in the fall.

Parent & Families Activities

While you wait for your student, we encourage you to become acquainted with the UC San Diego campus and the greater San Diego area as well. Here is a list of different ways you can pass the time while in San Diego. Most, if not all, of these locations are accessible through walking, taking a campus shuttle, or riding on San Diego's MTS public transit system
